How do I access ForecastEx?

You reach it through the Interactive Brokers ForecastTrader interface rather than a standalone app, so you log in to an eligible Interactive Brokers account and open the prediction markets area.

What does ForecastEx cost?

The only trading fee is one cent per contract. Contracts trade between two and ninety nine cents and settle at one dollar for the winning side. Confirm the current terms before trading.

What is the incentive coupon?

ForecastEx positions can earn an interest like incentive coupon that accrues daily and pays monthly. The rate is set by the exchange and changes over time, so verify the current rate before relying on it.

Eligible Interactive Brokers clients who are twenty one or older, across certain Interactive Brokers entities. Eligibility depends on your account and location, so confirm your own position.

Who regulates ForecastEx?

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where ForecastEx is registered as a designated contract market and a derivatives clearing organization. That standing is strong but does not make any trade safe or any outcome certain.
