FAQ

Questions readers keep asking.

Do I need to sign up for an account on Limitless?

No traditional account. As of November 2025 Limitless is a permissionless onchain market on Base, so instead of registering you connect a crypto wallet you control and trade from it. There is generally no email sign up and no identity step to begin, though onchain venues can add front end restrictions over time.

What do I need before I connect?

A Base compatible crypto wallet, the collateral asset Limitless uses, typically the stablecoin USD Coin on Base, and a small amount of the network token to pay transaction fees. You usually buy crypto on a separate exchange and move it to Base first.

Is Limitless available to United States users?

The legal treatment of onchain prediction markets for United States users is unclear and contested as of November 2025, and a wallet being able to connect is not the same as the venue being legal or appropriate where you live. Confirm your own position before doing anything, and treat uncertainty as a reason to wait.

Is there any identity verification?

Permissionless onchain access generally does not run the identity checks that a regulated United States exchange must. That removes a step but also removes the protections that come with it, and onchain venues can add optional compliance features over time.

What are the risks of starting with a wallet?

You hold your own funds, so there is no help desk to reverse a mistaken transaction, no deposit insurance, and smart contract risk sits alongside the ordinary risk of being wrong. Send to a wrong address or sign a malicious transaction and there is no recovery.

Is this site affiliated with Limitless?

No. Prediction Market Index is an independent informational resource and is not affiliated with any platform. We explain how it works and leave the decision to you, and we do not provide sign up or affiliate links to onchain venues whose standing is unclear.
